We had a really nice Easter weekend with lots of polka dots to show for it. :)
Our neighborhood had a brunch at the Palmetto Club (wedding reception type place) on Saturday with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny and complimentary pictures.
She sent me some extra because we're friends. :) THANKS KATHI!!!!
This has been such a wonderful perk, to be able to get these better than the Mall pictures, taken without standing in line at the Mall. We'll miss this!
We scurried over to the helicopter egg drop at the local church and hunted some eggs.
They had three different area for the eggs. Here's Olivia waiting in the 6-8 year old area. As always, the egg hunt was over in about 75 seconds.
Audrey threw a crazy fit over wearing the dress, but did cave...but the moment we left the brunch, took it off and had this underneath it. Olivia followed suit that morning on complaining, but didn't have the foresight to have an outfit on underneath it.
We ended up going back to the brunch after our few minutes of egg hunting and I had Audrey put it back on.
So let me complain a bit. I take them to pick out the fabric and the style of the dress. They still complain about wearing the dresses. No good deed goes unpunished is the moral of the story here.
Sunday church we got to forego the argument over the dresses since we did that on Saturday. Praise the Lord!
Claire was scared of the Easter Bunny at the brunch, but all on her own, went up to him and gave him a hug at the egg hunt. I was really proud of her!
She kept telling people all afternoon. "I HUGGED THE BUNNY!" :)
Sunday morning they had fun looking for their baskets and the eggs. Here's some fun pics.
The Bunny always brings them a swimsuit and a new towel. You tell me if you can spot the different personalities with these kids.
THESE CRACK ME UP!!!!!!!!
Then we went over to our friends, Beau and Liz Higgins' house, where they hosted 13 adults and 20 kids. :)
Here's a picture of Liz and I and then Beau and Claire (she calls him Broccoli (long story) and absolutely adores him) from the Brunch.
All in all, it was a wonderful holiday weekend, spent with our military family and all of our little girls!

Great fabric for the girls' dresses--so fun! I also heart the Mick and Gigi photos :)
Very cute pics although I have to admit Audrey looks like she can't wait to get out of her dress into her stealth-casual outfit! Sounds like something I'd have done only to have Katy have the same reaction as Olivia! I love the one of you and Liz and also of Gigi sleeping in her peanut shell. Too cute.
