Mick started the joke years ago that if we could put our house up on wheels to match our yard, we would. This house is no exception.
The other day Mick counted the number of "wheels" that we have. 50.
A few days ago we got an "Official" notice that a few of our bikes weren't put away.
Then today I came home to this on our front door.
That's Mary, my neighbor, writing a P.S., but she got interrupted.
I then checked my e-mail and Mary had sent me this message.
Hey Susan,I saw that dreadful notice on your front door and I hope you're not too upset. Gosh, if you got evicted they might put you in one of those horribly pretentious houses in the fish bowl, and I know that's just not your style. Anyway, good luck with that. Let me know if you need help with day to day yard clean-up.
Your friend,
Mary
I sent the scanned copy of Mary's "Eviction Notice" to my friend Megan and she wrote back that it was soooo funny, but how did I not get that it was a joke with so many typos? And I answered....there's just so.much.truth to the second notice. ☺
But aren't our flowers pretty?
We were practically the only house in the neighborhood which didn't have a little garden so Mick planted this for us last weekend.
I must say that all but 4 of those wheels get used and those four (two old bikes) are sitting beside my car to be taken to the Thrift Store. So we're down to 46 wheels. :) (To be fair, that includes two strollers and one of those strollers has six wheels total. That makes it totally reasonable, don't you think?)
As you can see, we take ourselves pretty seriously here. ☺
(Caveat: Let's be clear that we're making fun of the Wagoner family here.
Because even when the Japanese English is Engrish, at times, it is leaps and bounds better than the 10 words (wondering if I even have that in my repertoire?) that I know of Japanese.) ☺

Hysterical! That shot of all the 'wheels' has me rolling. And, yes, the flowers are very pretty :)
I have to say that my favorite part is the giant HIGH VOLTAGE sign to the right of the many wheeled vehicles!! (Really, the flowers are my favorite part.)
Just came across this when looking for eviction notices in Google images...absolutely hilarious! :D
