April Fool! Audrey really does like getting treats for her birthday!

I asked Audrey what kind of treats she wanted for her birthday and she said "NOTHING!  No one brings in treats anymore!  Do not bring in any!" 

So, I promised I wouldn't. 

As I kissed her good night last night I said, "That darn baby Gigi!  I'm sorry, but I don't have any April Fool's jokes planned for your birthday....I have just run out of time this year."  (And truly, I didn't at that time.)

Mick's alarm went off and I thought to myself, AHA!  I can take in treats and say "APRIL FOOL!!!!  I promised I wouldn't bring in treats, but here I am!!!!"  :) 

The kid who sits behind her said, "You're lucky, Audrey, that your Mom still comes into school!" 

And apparently she has forgiven me because she texted me about 30 minutes ago to ask if I would come and have lunch with her.  :)
