Halloween Hoowwwwlllllll!

The base here is very active socially.  Saturday night there was a "Halloween Howl" event where every unit (we are H&HS) decorated a tent and provided themed food.  Our unit won (WOO!) and it was absolutely fabulous.  Here's some photos.
Our theme was a morgue.  Notice the Japanese Torii on the sign....that's our unit's symbol.

This is Megan Coletta, our CO's wife and Chief Scientist and Doctor at the H&HS Morgue.  That's a jell-o brain in her hand and another one behind her.  That display was absolutely disgusting.  More on that later.
Gross.  That open container between the "testicles" and the "heart?"  That's real pig blood.  They sell that????  GROSS.
That's actually just bags of ice under the sheet.  Not sure what the arm is.  That's our Sergeant Major pouring Ice Luge shots.  Get it?  Bodies on ice?  ☺ We also had some real "fake" bodies that were the search and rescue dummies.  ALL OUT BABY!  (Did I mention we won?  It's like college all over again! Lots of fun!)
And that's us doing an ice luge shot.  ☺
The food was deliciously gross too.  That's my "brain" in back (cauliflower with fruit by the foot) with guacamole gunk.
I know you want to see it close up!  ☺
The costumes were spectacular!  Nearly everyone dressed up.  Of course Mick's was the cleverest, but a bit too cerebral as in....most people didn't get it.  He's number one in my contest though!

How did people not get Japanese Crosswalk Sign Guy?
For reference.....
Here were our favorite costumes.
Second from left, a SNL skit.
Mick with Brittany Spears.  He smoked and drank all night long.  Not Mick.  Brittany.
Esmerelda and the Hunchback of Notre Dame.  The base's XO and his lovely wife Susan.
These are all of the CO's from the base.  The biker dude is the CO of the whole base.  The third from the right is married to a Japanese National so is able to stereotype without prejudice.  He's, apparently, an old Japanese guy.  :)
My sentimental favorite.  The Bun in the Oven (due with their 3rd on December 5th) with the Chef.  ☺
But the favorite of the night HAS to go to our XO's wife's Grandma, visiting from the States with her daughter (the XO's wife's Mom).  Follow that?
Grandma has a silver garter on....she came as a hooker!  ☺
Mom made me my sheep costume (I'M NOT A BUNNY!) to go with Olivia's Little Bo Peep costume and Gigi's lamb costume (which we didn't end up wearing, but more on that later).  I was snug and warm as a bug (or a sheep).  It was a bit chilly that night!  THANKS MOM!!!!!!
Another fun weekend night in Iwakuni!

What fun. I love your sheep outfit. You guys always seem to live in places where people go all out for holidays, and I'm starting to wonder if you're the instigators ;)
