We got on the ITT (military travel agency of sorts) tour bus at 10:30 on Wednesday night for our journey to Tokyo. At times on the trip I thought to myself, "WHY IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY DID I THINK IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO SIGN UP FOR THIS TRIP WHEN I HAVE A ONE YEAR OLD AND A THREE YEAR OLD? WAS I SMOKING CRACK?"
But I digress. We made it. Whew.
The bus stopped every few hours at rest areas. Which were great opportunities to wake up babies who WERE asleep in their car seats. Wait. I'm the only one who was insane enough to bring a baby. So it was a great opportunity to wake up Gigi who was asleep for a period of time in HER car seat. No need to pluralize that last sentence. I ended up holding Gigi the rest of the time and she nursed for most of it. But how much milk could there be after 6 hours? So I was a human pacifier that hugged her for most of it. But whatever works.
We stopped at 8 a.m. at a very nice rest stop in Fuji City. There was a GORGEOUS view of Mount Fuji. Absolutely amazing! Oh and a McDonald's and a Starbucks. Equally amazing!

| We held off purchasing the stuffed "Fuji-chan", but were tempted. |
 |
| Gigi was too taken with the view to say "FUJI!". ☺ |
More later!!!
