Audrey climbed into bed with me this morning and we talked about how sweet baby Gigi is and she said, "I don't remember much about Claire at that age. When I think of Claire, it's how she is now."
I thought about that all morning and it's so true. As the stages go by, you live in the moment, which is good, but oh how I love my babies!
So this morning, I decided we could work on better sleeping habits another time,
and I swaddled my sweet little girl and gave her her ba-ba
and traced her face with my fingers,
concentrating on her sweet little nose and her long eyelashes and her chipmunk cheeks
and how very soft her skin is.
And how wonderful it feels to be cradling your baby in the quiet.
And I told her how much I loved her.
And how lucky I am to be her Mommy.
And how I love her. And how much I love her. And how much I love her. And how much I love her.
And how I wonder what she's thinking?
And how sweet she is.
And how much I love her.
And how lucky I am to be her Mommy.
And how much I love her.
Goodnight sweet, beautiful, soft, special, sleepy girl!
