Olivia the Art Teacher

Olivia worked last week on the ad for her art class she is going to teach, after careful consideration and much discussion over the best days and times.  You see, swim team is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we want to make sure the kids have time to do their homework first before they get to come to fun art class.  So we decided on

She was anxiously awaiting her first class this last Wednesday.  After we went to lunch with Daddy, she came home, took a shower, did her hair and then asked me, "Should I wear the yellow skirt with the matching sweater or the green and white dress with the belt?"  She decided on the skirt and sweater because her room is the coolest in the house as well as the neatest.  A virtual oasis is in the desert of chaos.

Our new friends, the Colettas, have a 5 year old daughter named Sophia and she was very excited to enroll in the class and showed up, thank the Lord, on time ("Mommy!  When are they going to be here?"  Answer:  4 hours and 25 minutes.  Ten minutes later...."When are they going to be here now?")

They made sock puppets and then Olivia had her work on a picture book.  Olivia is currently drawing monkey faces and bowls of fruit and worked on the basics of those with Sophia.

It was a great class and we're looking forward to next week!  Thanks to my new best friend, Megan, for coming over for a beer and not only not minding our mess, but giving some good ideas for organization.  I'm so glad we're here together!!!!

GREAT JOB MISS OLIVIA!!!!!
