Hopefully I'll have time sometime soon to get back to our Tokyo pictures, but for now....here's a few pictures from the season!
 |
| I brought very, very few Christmas decorations to the bewilderment of my children ("You didn't bring any ornaments?" and "Is that really going to be our tree?") and couldn't find our stockings when I was pulling out those few little decorations, so we ordered new ones that represented our personality rather than do the matching Pottery Barn embroidered ones that are sitting in storage. (From left to right, up the steps): Olivia's is the Peace sign one, Claire's is Snow White....didn't know it was going to be so small, but it didn't faze her, Gigi's is the Energizer Bunny (because she has slept through the night twice...as in....only two times in her life, yawn), Audrey's is the pink zebra print, Mick's is the Texas one and mine is a leopard print boot. (Sassy!) This is our step tanzu that we purchased at the Fall bazaar. Love it! |

| There's always room to bring the Christmas bra! That didn't have to be left in storage! ☺ Embroidered undergarments was the new uh, tradition, last year, but this year's is "The Elf on the Shelf." We named ours "Twinkle" and he flies away to the North Pole each night and reports to Santa and then flies back home and ends up in a different place in the house. Olivia is getting the biggest kick out of it. He's a lot of fun!!!!! |

| Santa was at the Exchange this weekend and I was so proud of the big girls for dressing up in red to match the little ones for the picture. THANK YOU! Audrey ran right upstairs when I asked her to wear something red and got this new shirt and then worried, "Is it fancy enough?" I told her, "It is perfect!" xo |
 |
| The photographer said, "1, 2..." and Claire held up three fingers. Reminds me of a wedding picture of ours....the photographer said "Give me 5!" for some reason, and my nephew Andrew, who was 5, held up his hand. I love that picture...and this one too! So cute!!!!! |
 |
| Gigi is still only crawling, but Mick keeps trying to get her to walk. She stands up once in a while. I tell Mick to "STOP THAT!" and "STEP ON HER TOES!", but I'm sure she will walk someday. Sigh. |
The kids only have have to go to school this week and then we get to goof off for the rest of the year! :) WOOHOO!

When I was in the Kindergarten room today (the teacher has the same scary looking elf) ALL the kids jumped up at once to tell me all about being good because the elf reports to Santa each night. I had never heard of such thing but it must be the in thing if you're doing it across the country and a teacher is doing right under my nose! Crazy and exciting all at the same time.
Love that you got your family Christmas shot in, you all look great coordinated in red!!
Bryce is in to running rather than crawling. When I saw him crawling after a motorized train tonight I thought he looked awfully odd but that's because he's always running!! Running away from Grady's clutches I should say! You don't have to hurry up any baby skills, they will do it when they are darn good and ready to! Love to you all!
