Olivia was very much in the Santa Claus spirit and not only insisted on making cookies (Oreos aren't good enough!), but drafted a note and then made a final copy for Santa's viewing. Claire was quite proud of her sister's note and put it on the refrigerator.

Santa wrote back and I would guess that he took a lot of time, perhaps around 20 minutes, arranging it on the refrigerator. I think he even got down on his hands and knees and fished magnets out from under it and then tried different combinations of letters until it was just right. And that was Santa. Not Mrs. Claus. After midnight, when all kiddos were asleep.

Restraint was not the theme for Christmas 2010. Maybe next year when we have more friends....but not this year!
