Today I volunteered at Audrey's JA (Junior Achievement) BizTown day and it was amazing (post to follow). Here's a sneak preview of Audrey, as Chamber of Commerce President, giving out awards for Best Business and Best Manager.
So anyway, I needed to be an hour away at 8:15, dressed nicely and showered, which, let me just say...I'm a telecommuter and I am that stereotype who works in bunny slippers. And Gigi was up from 4:00 - 5:30 because her Mommy ate an entire bag of dried beans (cooked) in the previous 24 hour period because she doesn't have a brain in her head. So when Dumb Bean Mommy (that's me) went back to sleep....I dreamt like crazy for the next hour. And here's the dream.
I'm at JA Biztown, on time, miraculously, and we're gathered around getting our training and all of a sudden I look down and I'm holding Spike's leash. And I say, "I'm so sorry. I'm so flustered. I have four kids and I'm moving to Japan."
A little more background. Yesterday, at gymnastics for Audrey and Olivia, I was talking to a friend of mine and she asked about the move and I said, "It will all get done. There is no sense freaking out about it. I haven't had the chance to do as much as I want, but there's no sense worrying about that because there's no way it could have gotten done."
Apparently my words are calm, cool and collected and my subconscious is fighting to get out and say
HOLY SHIT PEOPLE! THE MOVERS ARE COMING IN 27 DAYS!!!!! WE'RE MOVING SO FAR EAST THAT WE HAVE TO GO WEST TO GET THERE! LET'S FREAK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Breathe.

Hilarious. All of it. If it is any consolation, you are doing MUCH better than I would be in your situation ;)
I am still laughing at Audrey's comment - she is too fuuny. I'm certain the lack of sleep in really helping your situation! Wishing you better dreams tonight.
