Since my most fervent desire right now is to sleep in on the weekends, Audrey, Claire, Gigi and I went to the 4:00 mass today while Mick and Olivia were at a birthday party.
All the girls were really good or as I told Audrey, Claire was really good considering she is two....and Claire.
Waiting to go up for communion, the baby was getting a little fussy and Claire shook her (special) bunny at her and made Gigi smile. It was really the sweetest thing! Audrey had been pointing out the word Jesus in the hymnal to Claire and when we stood up to go to communion, Claire, very proud of herself for making her baby sister smile, announced proudly "My bunny talks to Jesus!"
A holy bunny indeed! We knew it was special, but we had no idea!
