General Orders 100

Mick brought home his (Charlottesville job) JAG School Alumni newsletter yesterday. Apparently there is a print for sale that depicts President Abraham Lincoln signing the Lieber Code. Mick said that he would really love to get a copy of that to have for his office someday.

He tells Audrey and I that it is the basis for all international treaties and that he used to teach it. He goes on to say that it is also called the Lieber Code and was signed in 1862.

I look down at the flyer and say, "It was signed in 1863."

Mick, without missing a beat, says, "I didn't say I taught it well."

Love his humor!!!!!!!!!
(I think I should buy him the limited edition, don't you?)
