Our Going Away Party

Thank you Gregg and Patty Wood for such a fabulous going away party!!!!!!!

They invited our whole common area as well as a few other close friends of ours.  Thank you!

Olivia's best friend from the neighborhood, Lauren and her sweet sister Summer brought Olivia the sweetest present.  It's a silver necklace in the shape of a circle that is inscribed with "A circle has no end.  That's how long I want to be your friend."  So sweet!  Thank you!!!!!!

The kids chilled out under our Longhorn tent and various "Soccer Mom" chairs.  I want to point out that all of those chairs our ours.  Scary!!!!!!!  That's A LOT of chairs!  :)

Patty's spread was fabulous.  The decorations were "Tiki Bar" and I hope you can see the roasted baby potatoes, perched on forks like Totem poles.  She is the HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS and I am so serious when I say I'm going to fly her and Gregg in each year to design something fabulous in my house and throw a fabulous party!!!!!!  We will miss you sooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!

She was so smart and had the guests bring side dishes (but she did make her fabulous Coquille, a Shrimp/Scallop dish served on sea shells!!!!!  She usually does it ALL and I love her for letting me not have as much guilt for our fabulous party!  xoxo

Not as fancy as Coquille, but I LOVED this side dish and will shamelessly copy this at my future parties!  Way to go Jeff!  :)

And here's Jeff and Heather and his fun coconut glass!

Mick was staffing Mr Tiki on our front lawn.

He had many satisfied customers.

And my girls were there too!

The kids had extra fun because Miss Patty and Mr Gregg let them play in their 50's room upstairs and on their second floor deck.

Such a fun vehicle for the kiddos!
Even Spike came out for a nibble of food!

Kristen and Matt came after their soccer mania and I was so glad they were there.

Because I sat down long enough to catch up with them and she was able to snap the obligatory baby drinking the beer bottle photos that all children should have of themselves!

This is one person I will really, really, really miss!  I love you Casey!!!!!!!!

It was a great three years in Fishhawk Ranch.  We started with Audrey and Olivia and a brand new Claire and we're leaving with our little Gigi too!

I want to give a huge shout-out and thank you to that Mick Wagoner for allowing us to live in this beautiful community.  It was a huge sacrifice on his part because he worked 43 miles from our house and he never ever never ever complained....not once...about the drive.  He said, "This is the best decision for our family."  We loved living here!  Thank you!!!!!!!!!!  (And we're excited about moving to Japan and having you work across the street so we can see you later in the morning and earlier in the evening!)

Great photos Sue--they really tell the story! But, as always, I love your commentary as well :)

Your community sounds amazing! Really great people.
